Biscarrosse is a beautiful seaside resort in south-western France in the Landes département, with two lakes (Lac de Biscarrosse-Parentis and Lac de Cazaux-Sanguinet). Surfing with the south beach wind

The southern beach boasts one of the best surf spots in Biscarrosse. It’s situated between ocean, dunes and a military zone. In this beautiful area, the white sand stretches as far as the eye can see. Best of all, the sea offers great waves for surfing. It’s true that the tide is sometimes low and therefore difficult to surf. But most of the time, it’s a very popular surfing area with big swells.

The Trencat surf spot

The name of this surf spot is inspired by a forest house located on the edge of the departmental road 218 on the way to Arcachon. This spot is shared with the Gironde and never ceases to satisfy the expectations of surfers in search of a natural landscape like the Dune du Pyla. When you go there, you’ll be fascinated not only by the environment, but also by the pleasure and sense of freedom you’ll experience while surfing.

Surfing with the wind from Vivier beach

Le Vivier beach is located at the northern end of Bisca Plage. It’s certainly the most popular spot with tourists. They come in large numbers to enjoy a great experience at all times of the year. Some tourists prefer just to watch the water-skiers who take great pleasure in practicing their passion on this beach. Others prefer to indulge in this activity to enjoy every second of happiness and freedom in the Landes department.

The North Beach surf spot

This beach is very popular because of the view it offers from the north traffic circle overlooking the beach. From this position, surfers can get an idea of the day’s conditions simply by looking. Some of them even get out of their cars to take a look. The spot is also well known for hosting the Kiwi Surf Festival at the end of July and the WSL Junior Pro in May every year.
