In 2018, this international seaplane gathering celebrated the arrival of theGrumman HU16 Albatross in the museum’s collection, after 2 years of restoration.

It should also be noted that this Biscarrosse seaplane museum is located on the Lac de Biscarrosse et de Parentis. This area was once considered the base for transatlantic seaplanes and hydros. In addition to models, you can also find mechanical parts, documents and period photos of seaplanes and hydroplanes.

You’ll be able to take a tour through the history of hydroplane flying in Biscarrosse, with its latécoère airlines, the Biscarrosse hydrobase, the former latécoère base and through the exhibition hall where aircraft from different eras are on display. You can visit from Tuesday to Sunday between 2pm and 6pm.
